Prevent the spread of fungal disease
Stump Grinding is the most effective method of preventing the spread of fungal disease such as Honey Fungus - a deadly parasite.
Honey Fungus spreads underground, via the root, so when signs of honey fungus are discovered it is recommended to remove all dying or dead wood, including stumps and roots. One easy to spot symptom of honey fungus is the white fungal growth between the wood and the bark. Clumps of brown toadstools also often appear on infected stumps.
Chippings from diseased stumps cannot be reused and we can arrange to have them removed for you and burnt.
